FIRECHILD
DARE TO BE SEEN
Words and images that tell the truth about you.

Photographs + Words. Together, or separately, depending on what you need. Always through the same process: clarifying the truth of your message, aligning everything around that truth, and revealing it to the world in a way that feels completely, congruently you.
You and your work are worthy of being seen, being visible.
But the ‘Acceptability Perspective’, a deep-rooted culture of more effort/ less self, has tried to convince you otherwise.
It lives in the visual media and photography industry that tells us ‘smaller is better’, it lives in the marketing industry that tells us we need to produce more content that prods at our clients’ pain points. It’s alive in the ‘expert’ culture that makes you ask if you need to do another course, get another qualification.
This acceptability perspective attempts to keep gloriously daring humans small, quiet and hidden behind websites and photos that just don’t fit, leaving it harder to be seen and heard by the people who need the work they were made to do.
At Firechild, we question and re-frame what’s acceptable and worthy of visibility and success (spoiler alert: it’s you, you’re already acceptable). Together, we distill the truth of who you are and what you do and we build the words and images to match. So that the way you communicate your work feels true and embodied - and the people who most connect with your work can find you easily.
No performance necessary.
Gloriously daring humans
deserve to be seen.

THE DARE FRAMEWORK
Every piece of work we do together follows the same shape. Each stage of the DARE Framework is designed to go a little further, reveal a little more, until what we make together is so congruently you that it couldn't belong to anyone else. And it works whether we're working on your photographs, your words, or both.
Our work together is an expression of your work, honoured and given form.
DISTILL
Going deep to draw out what's already there. The truth of who you are, what you do and why it matters.
ALIGN
Preparing your words and images around that truth.
REVEAL
Bringing it into the world. The shoot, the copy, the work made visible.
EMBODY
Letting it become part of how you show up every single day.

About
Éadaoin Curtin
I have the word “truth” tattooed down my spine in Ogham, which probably tells you everything you need to know about how I approach this work. I believe that when your photographs and your words represent the truth of your work, showing up becomes simple and selling is less push and more pull.
